Sailing in Placencia

Belize boasts the largest living barrier reef in the world. Join us in Placencia, Belize for a fun filled day on the water -sailing, snorkeling, swimming and sunning. Tropical fish, turtles, coral gardens, beautiful islands, sandy beaches, paradise awaits you.

Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than those you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from safe harbor. Catch the wind in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Sailing to the Cayes

Join our day tour to laughing bird caye located just eight (8) miles off the coast. The small island is studded with beautiful palm trees, a powdery white beach and unbeatable snorkeling. As it is protected it is teaming with underwater life and extremely healthy coral.

Depending on the weather we will visit any of a number of the inner cays. The mangrove systems on these cayes attract an abundance of marine life especially for spawning. You can expect to see all kinds of tropical fish, star fish, sea cucumbers and beautiful coral.

Sail the beautiful Placencia lagoon with mountainous back drop. Round sunset point for the perfect sunset, flat, calm, peaceful water. This truly is an amazing view.

Mission Statement

Our mission at Nautical Adventures Belize is to provide guests with a safe, fun filled and memorable way to visit some of the most spectacular places Belize has to offer.  We aim to do this drawing from a vast amount of experience and knowledge in the yachting and tourism industry.

The Owners of Nautical Adventure

Nautical Adventures owners, Lee and Garrick, have many years of experience in the yachting and tourism industry. They both share a deep affection for the country of Belize, and wish to share the wonder and beauty of one of Belize’s most prized jewels, her barrier reef system.
Lee has sailed extensively having grown up in South Africa on a yacht. She has an international 200 ton yacht master license from the royal yachting association. She has worked in the yachting industry for over fifteen years and has over 80 000 sea miles. With her at the helm you couldn’t be in safer hands.
Garrick worked for five years as first mate and chef aboard internationally recognized moorings crewed yacht charters. He is an expert fisherman and you can be sure if he is on-board you’ll be eating freshly caught fish even if he has to spear it.
